These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HustleTycoon ("the game", "we", "us"), the free idle tycoon game at hustletycoon.com. By playing, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
1. The game
HustleTycoon is a free browser-based idle game. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play it for your own entertainment. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the game or its content, or use automated tools, exploits, or modified clients to gain an unfair advantage.
2. Eligibility
The game is suitable for a general audience. If you are a minor, you should have a parent or guardian's permission before creating an account or making any purchase. By making a purchase, you confirm you are the account holder or have permission to use the payment method.
3. Accounts
You can play without an account. Signing in with Google is optional and unlocks social features (leaderboards, daily prizes, world chat) and cloud save. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the display name you choose. Don't impersonate others, and don't pick a username that is offensive, misleading, or infringes someone's rights. We may reclaim or change usernames that break these rules.
4. World chat & user conduct
World chat is a public, shared space. When you post, you agree not to send content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, spam, or that reveals other people's private information. Chat is moderated (filters and rate limits), but you are responsible for what you post. We may remove messages and suspend access to chat or the social features for anyone who breaks these rules.
5. Capital Coins & purchases
Capital Coins are a virtual in-game currency. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and can't be transferred between accounts. You can earn coins by playing or buy them through our payment provider, Stripe.
- Purchases are processed securely by Stripe; your card details are handled by Stripe, not by us.
- Because coins and the in-game items you buy with them are digital goods delivered immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by law.
- Coins and virtual items are licensed to you for use in the game, not sold as property. We may adjust prices, coin amounts, and what's available at any time.
- If your account is terminated for breaking these Terms, any unused coins or items may be forfeited.
6. Your saved progress
Your game save is stored on your device and, if you sign in, in the cloud tied to your account. We aim to keep cloud saves available but can't guarantee they will never be lost. We are not liable for lost progress. How your data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The game, its name, artwork, text, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms don't give you any ownership of the game or its content.
8. Disclaimers
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular feature will always be available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the game or any feature at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, including lost progress or lost coins. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You can stop playing at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the game evolves. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
